Please pray this week for the following concerns and celebrations brought before God on the fifth Sunday of Easter, May 6th:
CONCERNS: prayers of emotional support for Josie and family, prayers of healing for Kyle, prayers of safe travel for Maury, Kelly, and Jerry; and prayers for the end of this war (and all wars).
O God, it is your will to hold both heaven and earth in a single peace. Let the design of your great love shine on the waste of our wraths and sorrows, and give peace to your Church, peace among nations, peace in our homes, and peace in our hearts.
Dear Lord, watch with those who wake or watch or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep; tend your sick ones, rest your afflicted ones, shield your joyous ones, and all, for your love’s sake.
CELEBRATIONS: praises for Laura’s grandmother going home, for her healing; and praises for the wonderful weekend Laura and Deb spent with Orion.
Praise God, O my soul! and all that is within me, praise God’s holy name.
