Please pray this week for the following concerns and celebrations brought before God on the sixth Sunday of Easter, May 13th:
CONCERNS: prayers of support and healing for one of Kathryn’s clients, for Laura’s grandmother, and for Laura’s cousin Kyle; prayers for Steve’s dad, for Ken, for Lou to get her keys back, and prayers especially for all moms — those with us and those who’ve passed on… and for those women who don’t yet know they are pregnant; and prayers of safe travel for Rev. Jane and family.
O God, hear our prayer and let our cry come unto you. Thanks be to God.
CELEBRATIONS: praises for the Spring, for the blue skies, for the horizon, for the beauty of God’s world; praises for all moms — those with us still and those who’ve passed on; praises for tonight’s worship bulletin (thanks 
); and thanksgiving for all those who work on Sundays, allowing us to eat out, etc. And Happy Birthday to Rev. Jane!!
The words of our God are tried in the first; God is a shield to all who trust in him.
Eternal One, almighty Mother and everlasting Father, you have brought us in safety to this new day, this new week: Preserve us with your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all we do direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ our brother and savior. Amen.
